Queer trauma therapy for curious minds.

Does any of this sound like you: You’re usually one of the funniest people in the room, your ability to make people laugh is one of your greatest strengths, but maybe you’re beginning to feel like your connections aren’t as deep as you’d like. Maybe your whole life you were told something like “you’ve got so much potential, you’re going to be great!” and now it’s hard to feel like you’ll ever live up to the hype and pressure. You were raised as a third culture kid, or the child of immigrants, and have spent your whole life navigating different structures, systems rules, but it feels like the rug has been torn out from under you and you’re trying to re-find your balance.

You want to feel seen, you want to learn to trust others & to trust yourself. You want to belong.

I can help you can get there.

I want to help you find that sense of belonging & trust within yourself and in your relationships, and lean into curiosity & compassion for all your parts, so that you can be seen, heard, & validated.

I provide compassionate, trauma-aware, attachment-focused therapy to help clients, like you, manage anxiety, heal your trauma, have better and more authentic relationships, and learn how to advocate for yourself so you can live your best life.

I work primarily with queer clients wanting to work on interpersonal traumas, adult third culture kids, immigrants and other nomads, and folks who are now trying to understand how their ADHD impacts their relationships, day-to-day functioning and long-term goals. I focus especially on building up emotion regulation an distress tolerance, as well as building systems so that not everything is so hard all the time.

About Arielle:

I meet my clients with humor and compassion. I am direct and nerdy, and I love to use stories, data and art to help my clients heal their trauma and cope with anxiety, ADHD and life changes.
